MODO 13 New Features:
Offline GPU Rendering with AMD's Radeon™ ProRender
AMD's GPU accelerated path-tracer, the Radeon™ ProRender, is now part of Modo's collection of powerful rendering options and the beginning of increased rendering flexibility and improved APIs in Modo. In its first iteration for Modo 13.0, this hardware-agnostic, offline rendering solution gives artists the option of leveraging hardware that was once limited to real-time viewports.

Animation and Rigging
Actor Improvements
• Actors that contain only channels, or a mix of items and channels, are now made current when an item belonging to the Actor, or that has channels in the Actor, is selected.
• You can now edit an Actor's channel members.
Curve Falloff
Curve Falloff allows you to use a curve to modulate the effect of a tool on your geometry.
Graph Editor Improvements
• Keyframe handles have a larger hit detection size and no longer jump to the cursor location on mouse down.
• The Graph Editor now draws the bounds of the scene and current time ranges.
Normalized and Stacked Curve Display
You can now enable normalized curve display in the Graph Editor. Normalized curves allow each of the selected channels to be drawn in the same view space, each being scaled to a common vertical range. This makes editing and visualizing the curves easier.
Stacked curve display is similar to Normalized curves, but each channel is drawn individually in selection order from top to bottom.
Velocity and Speed Curves
You can now draw Velocity curves for floating point type channels in the Graph Editor. Velocity curves represent the selected channel's change in value over time, helping you visualize and smooth out the movement of animated items.
Speed curves are similar to Velocity curves, but they are only drawn when one or more Position channels are selected. They represent the distance the item moves over time.
Planar IK
Modo's new Planar IK system allows you to work with two or three-locator chains.
Time Fit
The new Time Fit option (keyboard shortcut: A) allows you to fit the current Timeline range to the range of animation belonging to selected channels or items, the current Action, or every item in the scene.
Twist Extractor
The Twist Extractor node allows you to extract twist (roll), yaw, and pitch from a local matrix. The twist output can then be used to smooth deformations, for example, on the lower arm as the wrist is rotated or the lower leg as the foot is rotated.

The new path tracing renderer in Modo is a ground-up redesign of the former Modo Renderer (now default).

AxF Improvements

• You can drag and drop AxF files anywhere into Modo to import them to the scene.
• The Import AxF button has been added to the Properties, allowing you to load AxF files and apply them to the selected AxF material.
Denoiser Updates
• The AMD Denoising filters have been updated for Modo 13.2 to v1.3.1
Note: CPU denoising is no longer supported, it is GPU only, on any graphics card (AMD/NVIDIA/Intel)
• For render denoising, options which are unavailable on the system where Modo is running will show with a warning/alert icon next to them, but you can still select them if you want to set up a scene for rendering on a different system.

3. Запустить кейген и создать файл лицензии (или используйте комплектный)
4. Запустить программу, в окне Licensing выбрать пункт 'Install Legacy License'
5. Выбрать пункт 'Install Downloaded License from Disk' и подставить файл лицензии
6. Если останавливали службу RLM сервера, то можно его вновь запустить
7. Перезапустить программу (чтобы записались данные регистрации)
8. Теперь, если всё сделали правильно, в свойствах о программе должно светиться имя заданное в кейгене

1. Установите программу MODO
2. Установите FLT7 сервер (если уже установлен,настроен и исправно работает, то переходите к 9 пункту)
3. Остановите Foundry License Server в службах или в утилите Foundry License Utility (RLM Server -> Stop Server)
4. Копируем патченный rlm.foundry.exe в 'C:Program FilesThe FoundryLicensingTools7.1binRLM' с заменой исходного)
5. Отредактируйте xf_foundry.lic заменив HOST_NAME, MAC_ADDRESS и PORT значениями любым из следующих способов:
- запустить от админа Foundry License Utility в меню Diagnostics -> Run Diagnostics (Host Name и System ID)
- через CMD команда ipconfig /all (имя компьютера, физический адрес (без дефисов в нижнем регистре))
- через CMD запустить rlmutil.exe с параметром rlmhostid -q ('The FoundryLicensingTools7.1binRLM')
- значение PORT задать по умолчанию 4101 (5053, хотя можно и ничего не писать)

6. Переместите отредактированный файл xf_foundry.lic в папку 'C:ProgramDataThe FoundryRLM'
7. Запустите RLM Server в службах или в утилите Foundry License Utility (RLM Server -> Start Server)
8. Проверьте в Foundry License Utility меню Diagnostics -> Run Diagnostics наличие лицензий программы
9. Запустите программу, если всё сделали правильно, то в меню About будет указано Floating License
Если программа при запуске запросит лицензию не увидев сервера, то сделайте следующее:
1. Выберите Install Legasy License -> Use Server -> вставьте 4101@127.0.0.1 в поле выбора сервера.
2. Нажмите кнопку Connect для подключения к серверу, если нет ошибок, то окно активации исчезнет.
3. Перезапустите программу для применения лицензии (чтобы в меню About стало Floating License).
